IS Service Owner for Tax

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will apply IT knowledge and expertise to help solve complex technical or professional activities. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge about services and solutions, to contribute your expertise to enhance organizational efficiency. The work model for the role is #Li-hybrid This role is contributing to the global financial systems used in several processes across Finance, with focus on Tax, Assurance and automation of Finance processes. You will be working together with a team of IT professionals, cooperating with customers from over 100 countries around the globe and contributing to maintenance of IT Services delivered to Finance organization of ABB. You will be mainly accountable for: • Configure and administer technology software solutions. Supporting the installation, maintenance and optimization of new solutions/tools or changing/updating the existing ones • Incidents and problems management and resolution (support engineer) • Collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle with developers, testers, IT Operations infrastructure and 3rd party suppliers’ teams • Reports creation and maintenance (within application and directly from SQL database) • Contribute to the team culture of quality and high performance in daily team standups. Writing technical documentation and building knowledge base • Managing Disaster Recovery and Backup Procedure, performing compliance controls of Change and UAM processes • Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business • Work in an international team and communicate in English on daily basis Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role

  • You have 2 years of experience in IT/IS operations, preferably with focus on Finance systems
  • Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft tools (especially Excel as a must) and SQL language knowledge (highly recommended)
  • Possess Basic Windows server/web server administration knowledge (recommended)
  • You are experienced in writing technical and support documentation
  • You are immersed in ITIL methodology
  • Ability to understand both IT and Business point of view
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance or related field
  • You are at ease communicating in English
