Position Title: Factory Manager / Plant Head / General Manager – Operations
Location: Daman
Salary Range: 25 Lac to 30 Lac yearly.

Role Overview:

The Factory Manager/Plant Head/GM Operations will be responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process, managing plant operations, and ensuring the achievement of production targets, cost controls, safety standards, and quality objectives. The individual will be expected to drive operational excellence, optimize production efficiency, and ensure the continuous growth and improvement of the plant.

Key Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:
  • B.E/B.Tech in Plastics Engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations in the rigid packaging industry (preferably in plastic packaging, injection molding, blow molding, or thermoforming).
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale manufacturing plants, with a strong understanding of plant operations, production planning, and team leadership.
  • Solid background in quality control, process optimization, and cost management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, ISO certifications, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHA).

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in manufacturing software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Deep understanding of rigid plastic packaging processes, including molding, extrusion, blow molding, and injection molding.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with different departments and external stakeholders.
