Job description

Work with purchase manager and other stakeholders to understand material and service requirements, timelines, and budget constraintsIdentify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors. Establish criteria for selection based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the procurement process.Prepare and issue purchase orders for required materials and services. Ensure that orders are placed accurately and in a timely manner.Monitor the status of orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies or delays.Keep detailed records of purchase orders, contracts, and correspondence with suppliers.
